WAR MACHINE II Acrylic, Coffee on Canvas 96" x 48" I really enjoy screen printing and decided to try transferring the technique to canvas. These paintings were created by dividing up the original image and printing them individually in sections. The coffee staining adds color and movement to the work, emulating clouds. The imagery depicts the mechanical drawing of a Twin Wasp engine, a radial model developed in the 1930s. |
