SEATED WOMAN Oil on Canvas 48" x 48" I have always been interested in portraiture. This work, the final thesis for my BFA, focuses on femininity and incorporates contemporary ideals of the modern woman. Drawing inspiration from the neo-impressionist painters of the early twentieth century, I am concerned with creating a sense of intimacy. The viewer is given a privileged look into the personal lives of women. |
